I am looking at a 99 V8 with 6000 miles on it...

1) Dothe 99s have the new MAPs or the updated ECU in it?
2) Is there much of a difference between the Brembos and the AP racing brakes?
3) How much does the Quicksilver setup run for?

Thanks,
~Vince

One more question...
Can you tell the difference between the 2 years torque wise? Is it worth the extra money?
Thanks,
Vince

Vince - ditto KM's comments.

The quicksilver pipes retail in the UK for £230, but there's an email address on their web site so you can ask them for usd prices incl shipping.

Just had my 98 ecu upgraded to hi-torque spec today. Yes is IS noticible and in my opinion WELL WORTH DOING!

The car is quick anyway, but its a rocketship with this ecu..!

Hi Dan

I actually went up to Hethel and had it done there. They didn't replace the ecu, just wiped the old stuff and uploaded sport350 spec code.

Drop me a note i'll give you the details.
Cheers
Rob.

The gearbox is fine! at least so far, I have done about 400 miles on it and been up to 140mph and all seems fine. First gear is also alot smoother for some reason. I guess to really test it will take a couple thousand miles i'll be sure to keep you updated.
