Hi,I have got an Esprit V8 1997. There has been no problems and the car runs well. I went out just recently and once arrived at my destination I found once slowing up and stopping that the water from my header tank blew out through the expansion tank. I lost all of the water from the header tank. The temperature never went up and is always fine. There is no creamy residue in the oil and no smoke from the exhaust. Please can anyone offer any advice. Also the day when I went out it was a very hot day... could that be a factor? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

So blew out from which point via the expansion cap or hose??
Hoses can perish if clamps are over tightened or fitted poorly.
Being a 97 I doubt they have perished if the above is fine, only the small clear hoses tend to fail which are easy to replace.
