URGENT!! Can I use a 330mm rotor with spacer?
Discussion
OK my disks have failed inspection to thin and need all four corners replaced urgently as well as the brake lines all rusty and corroded.
I am going to stick with AP's but want to go for a size I can get off the shelf here in NZ. We have a mate who can get us some disks at a reasonable price. I have heard you can go to a larger 330mm disk with a spacer? Also is this the same size for the rears? What are the cons of this please and any other set-up issues.
Not interested in PNM's 30mm thickness disk as my disks failed at 29.1mm thickness. I need larger ones.

Hey Kylie,
I'm sure you saw on LEF,
But the brake rotors are full of many variables. Flange thickness determines bolt and special bobbin length, then rotor thickness determines caliper offset, so if you move to a 30mm rotor, you'll need brackets that hold the caliper at a different offset from the hub. The mounting pattern of the rotors are often different, and the holes vary whether the rotor is floating or not. A floating rotor uses different hardware. The hardware technically isn't supposed to be used again, and all the little bolts and bobbins add up to about $300 last I checked.
I'm not sure what max diameter fits in the Sport 350 wheels, but being cast they have a thicker rim than a forged 3 piece wheel, so they can't fit as large of a rotor. My 328x35mm rotors with Brembo Race calipers pretty much max out in my 17" AWI wheels from the 96&97 V8 Esprit. There is room for a 330mm I'm sure, but not any available size larger than 330mm.
Good Luck, I would probably buy from a place in the states, given the exchange rate, if available, and then Markus next.
