Guigaro Lotus esprit as a daily driver - am I nuts?
Discussion
I'm being tempted to get a lotus esprit as a daily driver, would not necessarily be required for the commute though would use it as often as possible. Currently run a mid eighties quattro turbo daily, so used to heavy fuel consumption and regular servicing and expensive parts (and the double jointedness needed to do much of it!)
Am I in cloud cuckooland given that I like the look of the NA S3? Or is the Stevens facelift a better bet? Been reading up on what to look out for, but if anyone has any links to suitable what to look for websites, then that would be great - google has already thrown a few up.
Any tips/hints/warnings gratefully received! For example I know the chassis should be galvanised but then read about potential chassis rust near the exhaust?
