Hi Guys.

Just popped over from the Elise forum.

Have just been into Autotrader and spotted 2 Esprits in my area. One GT3
http://pictures.autotrader.co.uk/ATD_web/servlet/m...
and one V8.
http://pictures.autotrader.co.uk/ATD_web/servlet/m...

Cosmetically there was little difference apart from the V8 sitting on multispoke alloys and having the more contemporary circular rear light clusters. So my questiosn are;

1. Is the GT3 proven to be more reliable than the V8 as one of the adverts claim ?
2. How much is a full set of either S4 6 spoke wheels & tyres or multispoke as per the V8 link (and how easy are they to come by) and
3. How much to do a conversion to the V8 rear lamp arrangement ?

Many thanks

Hi there,

The wheels are called OZ Nozas and will set you back £2-3K depending on tyres.
The round light conversion now costs £600 from Lotus (parts sale) and will cost a few hundred to fit.
There are other things to consider:-
Wheel arch extensions
Centre exit exhaust (you'll have to get a custom one made)
Cheesegrate valance
Wider bottom section front bumper on V8
2002 front spoiler lip on V8 is different to GT3

How much is the V8?
