Cats and Replacement Pipes.

Hey,

I need to replace the cats on an Esprit V8, i was thinking of buying a pair of cats then keeping them for the time being, in the meantime, put some replacement pipes on.

What are the pro's and cons of using the replacement pipes?

Pro's are increased power, and normally some weight reduction. Cons are more noise.
