where can we put the roof in the car when is off?

another question about the fabulous esprit

on my v8 i want to take off the roof when i drive ,but i don't have the owner manual. so i don't know where's the place off the roof in the car when is off.

can someone help me with a picture or explication

I test drove a V8 a few years ago, top car fanstastic on the twisties.
As for the roof doesn't it go over the engine somewhere or am I being daft?

It belongs in the (rear) boot. Upside down with the tongues towards the front of the car. The roof should plop in with a bit of a wiggle and part of it tucked on top of the left hand wheel arch.
It can be a bit of struggle if you're not used to it, so put the roof into it's bag to prevent scratches etc to the paint of the car.
