Is it me, or is interest in the website waning? When I first joined, there would be ten responses to every post in the first two days. Why has it slowed down so much? Hell, even Teigan's gone quiet. Without contributions, the forum is as dead as a V8 with a busted cambelt! Can we change this at all ??
Still here. (I would be, though)
I've thought about creating some Wiki's for this forum so that everyone can contribute to a brain trust of information about the Esprit (parts availability, service problems, how-to's, etc) It would also allow everyone to contribute their ideas on a truly shared basis.
The good thing is, the IT infrastructure is here that guarantees availability of the data now and into the future (PistonHeads is not a "two blokes in a shed" operation and is now owned by a rather large publisher)
Anybody think that would be a good idea?

It has def. dropped off. I know a lot of folks hit the yahoo group now... but I find that format to be a real pain in the a$$ and I do not think I could even sign in due to the amount of time I have not looked at it.
Not sure what the deal is - politics I am unaware of? a general dis-interest in Esprit cars these days? Everyons car is perfect and running better than new?...
I have not a clue.
Drive topless!!!

There are over 3,100 members on www.lotusespritforum.com and interest in the cars and talking about them is bigger than ever with over 5,000 new posts each month.
Head on over, you're sure to get a pleasant welcome and can chat Esprit with thousands of other enthusiasts worldwide.
We have a wiki too, and a garage where you can show off your car which will be up and running in the next couple of weeks!

I joined LEF last november when I got my GT3. Its a great forum with tech help almost 24h a day due to the esprit family being spread all over the globe and willing to help on LEF. Many local esprit groups have formed on LEF and go to regular meets/drives/hoons via the events board on LEF and this means it becomes a real as well as a virtual community. You must have all read about the bigsi project this year and that shows what the guys and gals on LEF are about, all 100% genuine (cant guarentee that some of us are not bonkers thoughy!!)
There is plent of banter on everyday too in the general chat, with everyone welcome to give their opinions. Politeness is the watchword and cussing is kept to a minimum. Sign up and give it a go and post a few threads in LEF and join the biggest and most active esprit community (madhouse at times) in the world.
regards
Alex
