just thought i would share this with you all.

to read all about this amazing effort frm lotus members all over the world goto: http://www.glcforum.com/esprit/forums/index.php?

earlier this year i suffered with several t.i.a strokes and have been recovering ever since.

while this had happened i tried my hardest to carry on working on my lotus esprit 83 turbo, but did more harm to myself than good.

the last time i collapsed the members of the forum decided to take my car away from me, to stop me doing more damage to myself and to the car!

I was told by the chief mechanic troy that all he was doing was sorting the engine out for me so it would start and run, then i could carry on with things when better.

needless to say i did not know about the total subterfuge that they were conspiring to create!!

i was totally in the dark about what was going on in the meantime, niether did i know about a special area in the forum that every member could see bar me, this was a section relating to the work they were undertaking on the car.

on the 26th of may i went to castle combe fr a day out with the lotus clubs and forums and to meet up with everyone again.

needless to say what they sprung on me that day will be remembered for the rest of my life.

heres a little taster, but please goto the frum and take a look at what an online internet community can do for someone.

it restores your faith in people.

I've just read an article about this on the BBC news website - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_east/629235...

What a fantastic thing for those guys to have done for you, I hope you enjoy your car.

Good luck
