waistline-trim --- where to buy?

does anybody know where to buy the waistline-trim lotus used on esprit, excel, eclat?

i mean, where to buy, besides lotus. is it a standard-profile or could something similar be used?

sure. sj is a possibility. i know this company already. also woolies trim (but i guess they dont have this profile in stock)

as i´m not quite happy to buy any parts at lotus or lotus related dealers when parts are something standard, there must be an alternative....(and finally standard parts could be bought than locally).

this thread should find this out out.

You are aware the list you mention covers at least four different types of waistline trim and probably more?



The Elite/Eclats used at least two types, both were different from the one I know on (Giugiaro) Esprits, and the Excels have yet another style. And some types are stuck directly to the shell and some fit over the joint bead left from joining the bodyshell halves.



What sort of car do you need the trim for?
