I have seen the Promised Land !!!

Hi John,
Glad you liked the performance in my car. I see not many replies so I'll put my 2pence worth. The two options you have are an ECU upgrade by Lotus factory or PUK or try a boost controller. If you are running stock boost like I am then the boost controller is safe enough as you're not requiring more fuelling etc.
ECU upgrade is a simple no messing upgrade which takes into consideration fueling, cooling, and a whole load of other stuff.
A boost controller uses a new boost solenoid valve to replace the Lotus one. Some boost controllers have a fuel duty cycle wire to attach to your ECU which can take care of fuelling for higher boosts.
Both have pros and cons. Iam using the boost controller on mine as it doubles up as a boost gauge (no need for an unslightly pillar mounted or dash mounted gauge). Also I can turn down boost to belwo stock boost for icy or extreme weather conditions.
A must for anyone upgrading the boost or HP or chip upgrade of their engine is to install an acurate boost gauge!
