One of the cars that still brings back so many good memories of the late eighties. Anyone know its whereabouts/history? Last I heard it had gone to somewhere in South Wales.

Blimey, that is an interesting combination. The old man supplied an HC with a white dash, white steering wheel and the whole interior was white. He even had the louvred panel sprayed white along with the wheels, but then changed his mind and went with red.

The best colour combo for Pearl White has to be the tan interior. There was King Hussain of Jordans car for sale once at Strattons, but it got sold, it only had 1500 miles on it, a peach. I would love to know where that is now.

(Nice stable of cars by the way)

White HC's are really rare. I know cos it took me over 2 years to find one and then I had to beg the guy to sell it to me! Never seen one with a white interior, although I know of a 300 Sport with one:

Sadly, I'm putting mine up for sale as a new edition to the family makes it too impractical, so if you know anyone interested in one let me know. Managed to persuade my other half that a Lotus Carlton is a good compromise!!

Yep, and I wish that I hadn't sold it to you, cos the Griffith that replaced it was a bag of nails.

If it is as good as it was when I sold it to you, I am sorely tempted to buy it back.

What a peach of a car....

Rog,

I sold it to Steve Matthews a couple of years ago and he has only put a couple of thousand miles onto it since then.

It is an absolute minter. Probably the best S3 HC Turbo there is.

It has a very full history, some of the servicing was done at the factory.

I spent a fair bit on the car, fitting a stainless exhaust, steering rack, radiator, crossgate cable, all the gear linkage bushes, fitted a rose jointed crossgate rod, had the wheels refinished, a new set of Pirellis and had the cambelt changed at just before I sold it.

I did a fair bit of detailing to the motor, with powder coated cam boxes and plenum and lots of stainless fasteners.

The interior is red half leather and is in fantastic condition.

I did a wet and dry compression test on the motor and the figures were all bang on.

The car was near concours when I sold it and it looks like it is still just as good.

I regret selling it and I'd buy it back tomorrow if I didn't have the F328.

You definitely won't find a better one.
