Hello there,

Where I fill up the lotus the rubber is wearing away - at the junction between the piper and the bodywork covered by the rubber gromit/gaiter.

Any idea if these can still be bought?

Cheers

Mark

Order from your dealer! Part number is: A100L0077F if your car is a V8 or a GT3.
Stevens shape pre-V8 seems to have a different mechanism with a clamp.

You seem to have a '96 V8 so this should be OK. You said it was a grommet. My parts manuals are for '93 to '96 and for '97 on. It is possible you have the previous type which is: B079L4034F for the clamp and A079L4035F for the gasket. If it is a V8 I would think it would be the first one. Is it one piece of rubber that you canpull out with your hand??

Yes, it is the rubber that can be pulled out by hand. So do you reckon this is the part you mentioned first?

Thanks for the reply - very helpful!

ooops yes it is. This fits my 52V8, and the parts list indicates for earlier versions as well

That looks exactly like mine. Part number as above for the V8. I bought one 6th July 2005 for £20.67 including VAT and the listed part number was A100L0077F.
Fancy knowing that much detail ...Love the car or just sad ??!!
