Well, what a splendid excuse to upgrade the gearbox !!!! It's out of the car and on its way to GTO in Reading for the rebuild of its life ( well, hopefully its life, anyway) Decided to fix the fault(2K all inclusive of parts, box out etc) but with total upgrade (4.5K all in) This will include new shafts, bearings 1st and 2nd gears, custom ratios, 199 mph crownwheel and 750 quid's worth of Quaiff LSD !!!. Can't wait....but guess I will have to !

Any suggestions, URGENTLY PLEASE, will be welcome: Which gear, what to change and what the advantages and drawbacks would be. For instance, I would gladly trade the to forty mph for 2 second drop in the 30 to 70 time. Please post replies ASAP as I will need to answer him by Friday morning at the latest. He has bent over backwards to speed this up and so I don't want to delay him...Thanks in advance
