Hi am happy to say that I am now engaged with a big rock on the finger and planning the big day in a year or so. A friend of mine offered his Esprit to keep mine company which was very nice. But was thinking o.k that takes "four" people!! What about the rest, and could I trust my family to drive other peoples cars with care even if I got another two esp's on top of that.

Have any of you or your friends used Esprits or similar on the big day? How did you sort the logistics? Or should I forget the Esprits and ask the Jaguar or Hot Rod Clubs here for some help.

Congratulations Kylie (and Mr. Kylie as well ). Sorry to say that my happy day was prior to the Esprit. Let us know how you get on. (and lots of piccies if you manage to round up the Esprits. That would be a classic!)

Just make sure it is your man that opens the door for you when you get in or out of the Epsrit.

Kylie,

You do realise that you can't wear a big dress or even a reasonable sized dress in your Esprit, so why don't you break from tradition and make your partner wear the dress instead! That way he can go in a limo and you can go in the Esprit!

And for the tradition of the bride,
Something new, your newly refurbished wheels
Something old, car (if it's same as mine about 13 years old)
Something borrowed, Rear wing off a V8
Something blue, I'm sure you can improvise there...

Are we going to have a web link for all to witness?

Good luck and all the best wishes.

Cheers,

Dave Walters
ps. Have you put your order in for an Esprit shaped wedding cake? You need to do it now in order for them to get the parts in time!

It's been done. The middle layer of icing leaked out because the cake sat around too long waiting to be eaten.

Nah wedding is not going to be traditional, think its going to be more of a rock concert on the beach, my man is the largest importer of everything you see on stage in concerts - mainly Italian stuff. Madmike might be interested in that sort of stuff!

I have worn a few dresses in the car and seemed to have survived o.k with a few gymnastic skills.

A Esprit cake, dont know yet but good idea though.

Will definately have web link for the big day.
