Hi,

We're looking for an early-90s Esprit Turbo (charge-cooler model) to feature in the next issue of evo. There would be some road driving involved but no performance testing or track work. We would insure the car. We'll also pay for fuel, food and accommodation, and you'd get a nice set of prints of the car after the feature's been published. The story is happening next Monday and Tuesday (Dec 11 and 12) on Exmoor.

If you've ever fancied seeing your pride and joy immortalised in print, please drop me a line at petert@evo.co.uk

Many thanks,

Peter T

I've sold my Esprit now, fancy doing an article about a V8 Esprit owner who's changed to a Noble M12 instead ? I've got plenty to say about the two !!!

Oh, OK, sorry... I don't read any of them, so kind of assumed they were all aimed at that market paperbag

Practically Classic Old Steam Charabanc is more my thing...

Nah it's aimed a bit more uppercrust like, with really useful comparison tests between Zondas and Koenigseggs :-) just what you need next time you change the motor.

Gents,

The article is out in the current issue (number 101 - there are still some issue 100 on the shelves). '10k heros' is the title and the group is on the cover, although my Esprit is at the back!.

As you'd expect, the Evo people liked the way the car drove, but hated the interior and the ABS, and on balance felt it was not the most likely choice of the group - some concerns over potential reliability as you might imagine when comparing it to some of the others in the group.
