Moto-Concept "Super-Sound" Stainless-Steel Exhaust
Discussion
Just got my new exhaust from moto-concept.de
here's the pics:
Old and new side by side (can you tell which is which ?)
If they don't show up, have a look at http://community.webshots.com/user/rob_e3
Nicer sound than the sports exhaust, slightly louder but not too loud (quieter than straight pipes). Quality is excellent.
V happy.

Hey Rob,
That does look quite nice. I was looking at it on their website a while back. My second exhaust system has cracked a pipe and is being replaced under warranty again, but for some odd reason, I have little hope that it will ultimately last.
What is the writing on the exhaust tip say? Is the entire unit made of stainless? I also was looking at the Tubi exhaust system for the Esprit V8 but have not seen a price for it. Do keep us updated on how it holds up.

According to their website they offer two V8 Stainless exhausts. One is a "Super Sound" and the other is a "Racing". The Super is listed at 1230 Euros and the racing is listed at 1800 Euros.
I'd like to get a price on the Tubi exhaust which is also Stainless and carries a lifetime warranty. Would also be interesting to see a comparison of the three compared to the standard Lotus and Lotus Sport exhausts for the V8.

Yes, it says "moto-concept" on both sides of both pipes.
I had a price for a tubi from a supplier in the uk - it worked out almost twice the price that i paid for the moto-concept system, however you DO get that lifetime cover with the tubi that you won't with this system.
Marcus (moto-concept) has a tubi in stock and told me that my system is about 20% lighter than the tubi. This system has some additional bracing to prevent cracking.
