I'm no expert on classical music, just read it in an old forum page. It's Barber's Adagio, Agnes dei (Vocal)
What that means I havn't the faintest.

I think it was Barbers adagio for strings in the final bit as they got a bit sad over the end of the Esprit but what about the music used earlier in the sequence - quite tricky but these programme producers certainly seem to pick suitable songs...
