my wiper blades don't get everywhere. most distressing is one lower corner, for me on the driver's side. can that adjustment be made without the blade crashing at the other extreme?

teigan, don't you have a G-type? On mine, I went to auto zone and purchased a blade longer than the factory blade. I BELIEVE it was a 26", but don't rely on my memory. Anyway, works fine, does not crash into anything, and increased the coverage area. Bring your blade (and blade housing) into your local parts store and increase the length.

i'll try that. thanks. it's the lack of lower reach that's the potential visibility hazard.

i bought and installed a longer blade, but the arm length is what really could use lengthening. there's about a 4 inch wide column of dew, which i have to wipe clear by hand from the driver's side edge of the windscreen.

Ah, just drive a bit quicker, that'll clear it

Don't be ridiculous, that'll fan the flames.
Just open the tailgate and throw a can of petrol over it. The sudden ingress of liquid will snuff out the fire
