Does anyone know where I can get a set of early V8 alloy wheels? They are the six spoked type, you can see the wheel nuts when they are fitted, while later models cars have a plate that covers the nuts, they are fitted to 96-98 models. Any help would be appreciated - Cheers

Try the South West Lotus Centre on 01566 784152. They do all Esprit Alloys, some with tyres. I think they've got some OZ 'AWI' 6-spoke alloys in. They are my favorites along with the Sport 350 alloys. I think they cost around £1,500 with tyres.

checkout this link for all the Esprits different alloys:

PLEASE mention Lotus Esprit World.com when you ring up, as I'm trying to get some advertising money from them, as my site gives them a lot of business and they don't realise it's coming from me.

I assume you mean the OZ 'AWI' monobloc. These are the ones fitted to the V8 after the S4S type ones were dropped. They have the flatter spokes than the later OZ Saturn.

Double check the wheels used by Lotus here:

(Donations welcome )

You can get them, usually refurbed, sometimes new, from Lotus independants like The Southwest Lotus Centre:

www.thelotuscentre.co.uk/

and a few others like SJsportscars:

AWI wheels are considered Obsolete by Lotus. The only way to find a set is to find someone willing to sell you theirs.

Also, if you do find a set, make sure that they are the "revised" run as the early run wheels had a tendency to crack.
