think i need a steering rack for my 85 turbo does anyone know the cost of one and if there difficult to obtain? ps is it a big job to fit? thanks guys

If in the US, LPBC (Lotus Prepared by Claudius) can rebuild it. For replacement, check with Jeff @ JAE.

I paid around £500 for a genuine Lotus one for my 1992 SE (i think!). I was told by a few experts that it wasn't worth fitting a non-factory one as they aren't strong enough.
Don't think it's a massive job, had mine done at a dealers. Why do you think you need a new one?
