I am planning on replacing the stock system on a 2000MY and am looking for suggestions as to the best route.....Some of the options I am considering are;

1. Stock Cats and straight pipes
2. High flow cats & straight pipes
3. CAT removal or bypass & Larinni or other system

Basically I am looking for the best bang for the buck.

Can anyone suggest what the best combination may be and who's products have the best quality for the cost etc.

Stock Cats and straight pipes £110+VAT plus fitting
Racing Cats and straight pipes £395each+VAt cats and £110+Vat for pipes plus fitting
Larini rear back box £550

Racing Cats from anywhere else will cost at least twice as much. Straight pipes are from Christopher Neils in Northwich.

I have also redesigned the cheesegrate valance to have exit either side to house the standard exhaust. I have modified it to fit better than the pictures that's on the 'cheesegrater' thread.

Iam having a centre exit system fitted by Peco on Tuesday. They are setting my car up so they can be sold through PNM Engineering. It'll be the same os the OEM centre exit but without the can around. Lotus only put this on to fool the US spec that there was a silencer on. We've cut one open and the can does nothing apart from cosmetics.
This back box will be half the cost of the Lotus one.
PNM already do the racing Cats which I'll put on after I've tested the centre exit with standard cats.
If you contact PNM, they will be away from Monday to Thursday and back on Friday.
