Hi,

my name ist Stephan. I own a '91 Esprit SE with a lot of upgrades: S4 wheels, dampers with adjustable spring plates, blow-off valve (BOV), chip-tuning, 25 mm aluminium wheel bearing spacers and a lot of different aluminium upgrades at the exterior and interior (pictures are at www.lotusespritworld.com). I want to fit up the car with a rear spoiler of the 350 Sport. Does anybody know, where I can get a used one or else a good made copy?

Thank you and best regards from Cologne, Germany
Stephan

You might want to talk to fellow Lotus Esprit World owners page members Mark MacKenzie and Glyn Harper (self made replica). They have installed such a wing to their cars of the pre-92 period.

Ask Kato to pass on a message, he is always helpful.

Nicholas

If your after that type of spoiler but not exact, then try E-tech Engineering. They do a selection of different type including double winged and all are adjustable to fit ant width.
You can get them through www.motor-world.co.uk they range from £140-£230 supply only all in.
Hope this helps.

Cheers,

I know that Johan put a wing like that on his extreme Esprit. I think his web site has changed to:
www.extremeesprit.com . Johan is an extremely nice (and knowledgable) person and would probably answer an email on the subject.

Hi Stephan,

Where did you get your wheel spacers from?
Also - like the silver mesh!

Cheers,
Doors.

Hi Doors,

the wheel spacers (25 mm) are from moto-concept. You can find them on www.moto-concept.de (there you can find an english version). The silver mesh is from foliatec (www.foliatec.de).
I hope, I could help you.

Cheers,
Stephan

Stephan - your car looks really good. The S4 wheels really look great, especially with the 'low' stance.

Where did you get your adjustable suspension from? Moto-concept?

cheers

Hi Rob,

you're right. It's from moto-concept fitted by Ramspott + Brandt, a good and competent Lotus garage in Wiesbaden (near Frankfurt). The 'low' stance of the car has been adjusted by myself to a height of circa 60 mm lower than before. After this, I had to remove a little material where the bumper is fitted with the mudguard because the front wheels wheted in fast driving curves. Driving the car now is much more better than before. The road-holding is excellent. You can adjust the hardness of every shock-absorber individually with a little regulator within a few seconds, without having to remove the tires.

Cheers

Some nice carbon spoilers on here (if you like that sort of thing!):

I'm very happy with the look of my car without a spoiler - nice and clean

Hi Rob,

thanks for the link with the carbon spoilers. I must say, I changed my opinion about the 350 Sport spoiler on my car last weekend, when I had the chance to fit one tentatively. Today I ordered a spoiler from WS which looks much better in my opinion.
To your car: I saw it on lotusespritworld and it looks really good. I like the wheels. For me, these are the only one and I'm searching for a set for my car.

Cheers
