Wastegate help

The wastegate spring on my 86 Esprit Turbo has broken. None of the suppliers can source one and apparently they are no longer available from lotus. Can anyone help either how to get one or the specs so that i can have one made? Also any source of diagrams etc. to aid putting it all back together.

I've got a complete Wastegate leftover from recenting changing to a Custom Tial setup.

My Esprit lives in Ivybridge near Plymouth, Devon. It's amazed me how expensive restoring an Esprit is! I guess it's even worse in the US? I've always wanted an Esprit since seeing James Bond driving the white one. I'm all ready to go except for the wastegate.

PNM Engineering will rebuild your existing wastegate no problem. Their number is 0151 630 6101.

I tried PNM but they can't source the spring as yet.

No but they can rebuild your unit if you send it to them. Did you ask this question or did you just try to buy the part/ find out the alternative part? He has a few wastegates in various states of dis-repair, Iam sure he can use a spring from one of those.
I'll ask him in the morning and get back to you.
