Does anyone know what "NACA" stands for or means? (As in:"Air is fed to the intake of the plenum chamber above the right hand bank of cylinders via the NACA duct ahead of the right rear wheel arch" I have an idea but I am not 100% sure of it!

National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) is the predecessor to NASA. Many of the airfoils and technology developed under the NACA era retains the NACA name.
