The left side headlamp motor on my '97 V8 makes a chirping noise when opening or closing. This is barely audible with the front lid shut but quite loud with it open. Anyone ever experienced this?

Pull the push/lift rod off the motor and the lamp.. put some silicone lube on the bushings. Might work... might not... but at least you will know that the friction has been reduced!
