LOTUS ESPRIT HEADLIGHT

A headlight of esprit SE did not move one.
Probably a cause is a gear of a motor.
Is not there a person knowing whether this part is diversion product of which car?

I think the lift motor is a parts bin part, used on other vehicles too.

Used this kit to rebuild the Fiero's headlight motors. I understand that they are basically the same.

Hey, If you will e-mail me at [e-mail] (sorry, AOL bounces off Pistonheads or I'd straight send it to you), I can send you a step by step with photos. I rebuilt mine last year.

You can actually skip the whole parts bin and parts store process and go to the local hardware. The original crap they used in these lift motors is a resin base... and therfore crap.
Put in some cut down and smoothed off plastic dowel or PVC. You will not have to do this again! This is the easiest fix you will ever do and it takes about 30 min. to repair one.
