I've done the andy whittaker modification- excellent and easy if you follow his instucutions (I printed them out and took them into the garage).

Chargecooler always cool to the touch now...

I have a moto concept BOV I elected to rebuild my OEM chargecooler pump because I have a marginal alternator and large stereo power amp.

I have done both. I don't have a photo of the BOV install, But I do for the Charge cooler pump. I used an American-made livewell pump manufactured by "Rule Industries" -- 700GPM. I am certain that you could find them with a search on the web. It works great. Here's my web page. The thumbnail photos are blury. Just click on a photo to enlarge it.

Whoa! I don't think you need an engine if the pump is pushing 700 GPM. 7, maybe?

I've done quite a bit of research on the cc pumps, but in the meantime rebuilt my stock mechanical one for the experience. But, I will say, that Rule pump is by far the least expensive I've seen!

I've been running an electric pump that is 4.2 GPM and it is a great improvement over the stock mechinical one. Something to look for when selecting a pump is the amount of head pressure it can supply. The Esprit chargecooler has a significant amount of restriction in it. A high GPM rate with a low head pressure doesn't do much good.
If you install a electric pump you might want to think about removing the old pump and plugging the hole.
