However it's gone to a young guy who I have no doubt will give it the time and energy it deserves

Cheers Ern: I dunno, maybe another one some day. At least I'll know what to look for... I bought this one with no prior knowledge of the car at all; I'd only ever sat in Esprit once!

But I have satisfied myself that it IS possible to run one on a budget... they're only simple engineering after all.

I guess I'd probably go for as late a NA car as possible... and even then, maybe I prefer the G to the S...
