For anyone who needs new shocks for their Esprit and have found that they are no longer available, here's the score:
Replacement Bilstein dampers will be available in 2 weeks. They will reqire replacement springs by Eibach. (also available in 2 weeks)
Bilstein dampers which will not need new springs will be available some time later.
The part number for the REAR bilstein damper is: LOTAC05398
The part number for the REAR Eibach spring is: LOTAC05400
Hope this helps!

Are these the adjustable ones like the ones in the "final run" esprit?

they are adjustable as in "at time of install". you won't be able to raise or stiffen them for a particular day then change back. for the price lotus is charging, you can get a lowrider shop to set you up with automated adjustable height. i'll bet they can spec the right parts too without help from lotus. lotus chose the new parts based on conservative driving, which isn't at all difficult; large margin of safety and performance error there. you'll do fine just having a knowlegable retail store spec replacement shocks for you. you can make four mistakes and still have saved money not buying the official lotus parts.

Good old LEW.

All things considered, I will probably try to go for the adjustables like the ones on the final run 2004 model when I need new ones. Springs where made by Eibach for them as well. Part numbers for the adjustables are also available on LEW in the "models" section.
