Polished the alloy rims was a long hard task but well worth the effort, all bolts were also stripped and re-chromed. Calipers painted and got billet alloy centre peices made to fit elise centre caps. Much better.

Kylie,

Very nice, they really look great! I have reclaimed a set of magnesium wheels in the past and I still remember what a B*tch it was. Let's see a pic of them on the car...Jim'85TE

Really smart Kylie, you must be really pleased and satified. Job well done. Suppose it'll look even better on the car with the sun shining. I like the centre badge and dust caps as well, nice finishing touches. I told you about locating my centre caps. Turns out I think to be a bit of a dud. There are not what I was looking for, still looking though.
Finished painting my calipers. Didn't really know were to finsh painting on my rears but I think that the finished result is good. Finished last one yesterday in the dark and rain!
Thanks for your comments on the front indicators. I see what you have done with yours. Making them look a bit like an S4 can only be carried off if your car's black as I blends in quite well. I had thought of doing that myself but with such a bright colour, I think I would have looked stupid, so decided to do the clear lens conversion instead.

Jim...yeah thankfully I didn't have to touch the magnesium centre bits. The silver paint is still in really good order, no dints or scratches. We had to carefully mask this off as I didn't want to pull apart each section of the wheel. Turns out now am a little wiser that we could have done it no worries, just knowing how to seal them together again properly, not to throw them out of balance.

Dave...I like your indicators better. Mine look awesome from a distance but close up they are really not that flash. Got a few stone chips on them, so may do the famous Dave upgrade

Yip will post another pic when I take the car out next. Its a little crowded in the garage at the mo to take a decent pic.
