Hi Phillip,

You're extremely unlikely to find a used one, as they were only used on the Sport 300 (no US cars) and X180R (only 20 made). Michael's Motorsports have a Quaife available, and there are perhaps a couple of spares remaining in Lotus stock. See: www.michaelsmotorsports.com/limitedslipdiff.htm

P.S. I bought one of these from Michael, but haven't installed it yet due to the cold.

Cheers,
Sanj

Philip,
Check with Larry at http://home.earthlink.net/~lmarsala/

Hybimars Racing Enterprises in California.

He gets Quafe LSD's.

I have the Lotus limited slip in my car. If I had to do it again, I'd buy the quaife. Less expensive and it sounds like it works better. The inside wheel still spins in 1st gear turns with the Lotus unit.

BTW, the X180R cars had clutch-type limited slips. The sport 300 is more like a type-II torsen.
