Esprit purchase help please
Discussion
I have a 1996 Porsche 911, but have always admired the Lotus Esprit. I've found the following and am considering flying 1,000 to purchase it on Monday. ANY advice would be appreciated. IE., anything to look out for etc.
1989 (and a half, he says ?) Lotus Esprit Turbo SE; White w/ White leather. 40,000 miles; new brakes, clutch. K&N filter. New windshield. One fingure long crack beneath the rear, side turn marker. That's about it. Thanks for any help.

I recomend when you go to look at the car, ask for receipts if he has any. To see how many times it has been in the shop ie(It has been in the shop 5 times in 1 mounth or less then 3,000miles)

Sounds like a good price.
Here is a link where some people post how much they paid for their cars. May be of some help.

I personally love the 911's too, but they dont quite have the wow factor as the esprit. Lots of 911's around, seeing an esprit is rare. I think that sums it up for your new purchase. Best of luck - Kylie
