Anyone out there replaced the black plastic waistline trim on their G-Esprit? I damaged the passenger side rear piece just in front of the wheel arch. Fortunately there was no damage to the fiberglass body beneath. If it is not possible to replace this trim (I know it is where they glue the upper and lower body mouldings together)is it possible to repair the trim? Mine has a small piece broken out of it.

The trim is only glued onto the waistline so is easy to replace.

I had to replace a broken section on my S3 a few years ago and just cut out the broken section, glued in a new section and used black silicon rubber to hide the join.

Hope this helps
