urgent help, oil pressure

Hi all,
pulled the carbs of my 88 turbo (s car) so as they could be reseated onto the manifold with new rubbers etc... this was done on the bench to make the job easier. I also changed the vacum lines whilst i was there (followed the diagram in the parts book for this). On putting it all back together and starting i have noticed that my oil pressure on idle is at 4, and on light throttle it will take the needle right into the red. Any help on where to check or what may be causing this.
