Jim I hope you can help me out on this?

Working on electrical gremlins the other day and discovered the hazard switch in the car is the wrong one. Tried to find the correct switch A075M6213F but it can't found. Do you know where I can find one or how to get my blinkers to work without a proper haz switch??

Thanks,
louis

Louis,

You're right. The hazard switch is made of 'unobtainium'. You will need to replace the switch in all probability to one which is compatible.

These are available from many sources, but you could try Vehicle Wiring Products in Derbyshire in the UK free catalogues from (sales@vehicleproducts.co.uk) or Waytek Inc. (www.waytekwire.com).

If you need to make the existing switch work, there will be a circuit in the switch which the wiring harness passes through, using a continuity tester, you should be able to bridge this around the switch, but this may cause the hazards to be inoperative.

Hope this helps...Happy Motoring! Jim'85TE
