I use Kato's web site here in the UK. It's www.lotusespritworld.co.uk On the owner's pages, check out Joonbugs and Mark McKenzie's motors as well as Ian Peter's of course the creator of lotusespritworld). Joonbugs has a nifty front clear indicator lens conversion which Iam trying to do. Mark McKenzie is doing a complete 2002 350 Sport conversion from a pre93 Turbo, there he has changed the door handles to an S4 which also would like to do but I believe is tricky.

Yeah its great ay, been and had a look a few times. He has updated it with heaps of new stuff since I was there last. Lots of sexy things there to give a bit of inspiration to do something. My next biggie project is doing fabricated parts out of Carbon Fibre using Vinyl Ester type resin. I manged to score a few parts off our Lotus dealer to make moulds off. So after I have finished the wheels will make the big start!!! Big sticky mess.

I would like to make a complete new instrument dash panel, side plastic strips that seperate the side glass panels. Mine has a very small crack in one side. The whole boot area that lifts out covering the engine and gearbox, I think is a little ugly and slightly tattered carpet. So would like to make this peice lighter and stronger, perhaps redo carpet with something a bit more mod. Have to use special fire retardant stuff here, otherwise I could be the first Lotus to the moon!

Dave....I really like side skirts of the 88-89 as opposed to the 89 SE, just because of its upward curve lines which give it that shaply look, but prefer the SE bumper. I got it on mine and I love it.
