Ernest, looks very nice. I spent all-day Friday cleaning mine. Even threw her on the lift to clean the lower stuff and wheel wells. It looked quite nice for the club picnic on Saturday... we had about 15 cars. Plan on posting some pics on the group site later.

PS - hate to say it, but it was fabulous weather in Palm Beach county this weekend. Got numerous hours of fun from the car between Saturday and Sunday.

As in the 21st as in this coming Friday? Not sure I can make it up that way... plus a wedding down near Miami to attend on Saturday. I'll have to check schedules.

Ernest-
Your car looks amazing as usual... Question....
I'm going to be attending an Auto Show here in Cali and was wondering several things.
1) Which car wax do you use?
2) What do you use for your for your spoiler lip? (mine has a few scratches from driveways.)
3) What do you use for your door weather stripping?
4) What about for underneath your fender-wells?
The show has a strict criteria for judging and I'm a bit worried.
Thanks,
Ed-

Ed - here is my suggestions:
1. Wheel wells - a good squirt with some "simple green" type cleaner usually does the trick
2. Wax Procedure (I use Mothers products almost exclusively):
a. Mother's stage 1 pre wax cleaner (twice annually) - prepares paint
b. Mother's stage 2 Cleaner Glaze - fills scratches
c. Mother's stage 3 Pure Yellow Carnauba wax - protects paint
When applying, coat the whole car during each stage and wait for about two cups of coffe before buffing off. Stage 1 and 2 come off quite easy but the Carnauba is the real muscle builder
3. Lip Spoiler (and all other black trim like the plinth and windows etc): Mother's "Back To Black". This is a plastic coating/polish. It easily hides minor scratches and lasts about four washes
4. Wheels (even though it was not asked): Mother's polish for clear coated wheels: It's the business
Interior is all leatherique for the leather and Mother's plastic polish for the rest. Good old Brasso for the tailpipes.
Also - trade secret - my wife turned me on the the absolute best window cleaner - it's called the works. It does not haze up or streak. I also coat the windows with Rain-X...
Your choice for tire dressing - they are all about the same...
By the way - the 6 hours was just for the Mother's three stage wax job and the wheels. Still have to do the interior...

Kevin - If you can't make it - I'll be sure and post some pics so you won't feel left out. Rumor (rumour) is Nick Cage should be making an appearance this year...
