Front lights S3

Hi all
I cant seem to allign my lights...
I have ajusted them on the trailors so they allign with the body.
One of them only comes 4/5 up. Before it pops up it goes down 1/2 inch!!! It seem like the gear on one motor somehow is off. Any thoughts

Hi,

I have the exact same problem w/ my '85 Turbo after jamming a light. I suspect that either the nylon gear is stripped or has shifted on the spindle. It's too cold (0°F) in my garage to fully investigate for about a month, but I am fairly pessimistic about it. Let me know what you find. Happy Motoring! Jim'85TE
