While the wheels are coming off to getting all polished up, I took the opportunity to degrease all around the suspension and brake calipers. This led me to the idea of painting them? I thought what the heck they got to look better than they are. I used a special high temperature Caliper paint por15 which can also be used on other parts as well. What a difference!

Hi Kylie,
Looks good especially with black exterior. Red wouldn't be right I don't thing.
Iam painting my wheels in the next week or so. Ordered some yellow calliper paint last week to see what the colour is like. It's a pretty good idea on these cars, as I think that they look good and can get away with it without looking tacky.
Yellow may be a little OTT, will test a small area.
Let you know how I get on. These little things keep us busy other the winter months, though I don't know what it's llike in your neck of the woods?

Yeah its lovely and warm, busy playing sport, windsurfing and while not at work I am doing my artwork. But always have time to drop what I am doing for a joy ride in the esprit

I used high temp caliper paint close to what my body color is. They do make paint for calipers that really stick.

Kylie,

Very nice. I powder coated mine this past summer when I rebuilt all the calipers. I did mine in Gold powdercoat as I have the two tone wheels w/ gold centers. Happy Motoring! Jim'85TE

Very nice Kylie. I'll bet they look the business when the newly shined wheels are mounted too!
