Heard he'd got one a while back on Pistonheads.com. Can't believe he's sold it. Maybe too powerful for a young boy!

Well, it's smart thing to do, if you can't handle that sort of car, let someone more experienced show you the way to go...

...It's a sign of maturity :-)

His mommy probably made him sell it. Little shit gets an Esprit by MGM. Like give me an Esprit!

His mom already made him deactivate the nitrous from the car he has from the Fast and the Furious movie.

Yes that is the movie. I guess he ended up with with a black VW that was tricked out. It was given to him with the stipulation from his mom that the nitrous bottle be de-activated.

What I can't understand is why after he sold it to his co-star buddy, did that guy sell it?

Was he also not man enough?

Either way, its a gorgeous car, always liked them in gleaming black. Hope the chap who gets it is an Esprit enthusiast.

I noticed it was in Pacific Northwest. The car is not exactly a 4 season type of car. I have driven an Esprit in the snow when I got caught in a late season snow storm once. It was not a pleasant experience. Also being that he is a teen he might want a car that he can take a group of people in. Oh, I forgot most teen males do want a back seat for recreational activites. You'd think he would have a car for every occassion though. Better to have him sell it than trash it. Many times wanting a certain car is much different than actually owning one. Just as well, maybe he was not Lotus material.

That car's registration is probibly up right now and if you noticed, the car is registered in Vancouver, B.C. I bet that might have something to do w/ the sale. For me to import my 88 esprit to Vancouver from the U.S is 7% pst tax + 7.5% gst tax + 6.1% import tax=20.6% tax on the blue book of the car. It stays registered in Las Vegas for now. Gotta love Dual Citizenship!

Cheers,

Dino
