Replacement mirrors?

Hi,
For 'G' model Esprits, the easiest thing to do is to retrofit a modern motor-driven (as opposed to the stock solenoid driven) mirror. I did this to my Esprit several years ago and it works better than the originals (infinite adjustability) while remaing absolutely stock in appearance.
I went to a salvage yard and purchased the mirrors of a wrecked '91 Nissan for $20USD, a few bucks for wire and connectors plus a reverse polarity switch (identical to the one Lotus uses but reverses polarity, from a Cadillac DeVille) for another $20 from a GM dealer. Uses the existing wiring harness, fuse etc. Happy to forward the procedure, just ask. Happy Motoring! Jim'85TE

SJ Sportscars can normally sort you out. I got a replacement mirror from them. Should have G & S model types.
