Good Morning,

This is my first post by way of an introduction.

Whilst I am semi retired, I have been engaged in making clear lenses for various cars. It started about a year ago when I first made clear fronts and rears for my 944 S.2.

A friend then asked me if I could do some fronts for his '95 Celica GT as these were not available in the market. He was so pleased with result, he asked me if I could do fronts and rears for him and a couple of other mates with Elan M100's.

This was also done, and I believe I am the only person making the Elan rears. Word started to get about, and I was contacted by a guy in the States asking me if I'd be prepared to do something for the Esprit S.4.

I took a look at them and although trickier than many others I'd done, I reckoned I could do it. I bought a brand new pair of units and extracted the amber lens, removed the TOYOTA marking and used it to make my master.

The first pair was sent to the States, and the proud owner who fitted them himself, has given me permission to show pics if his car. Photos which may be of interest can be seen at

For anybody interested in a set of these, I have my development pair,brand new never fitted to a car complete with wiring and bulb holders and a pair of amber and a pair of silver bulbs.

This may well be the only conversion I do and with only 4 installed worldwide to my knowledge, they're likely to remain pretty exclusive.If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me

Really sorry, I haven't checked responses to my post til today and for some strange reason I hadn't received your mail.

If you are interested in the clear rear indicator lenses on their own, drop me a line and I'll get straight back to you. Reckon they'd really update and smarten the look nicely on a white car -;

Again, apologies for the tardy response.

Hi Kylie,

Thank you for your post. Hope to have some more pics shortly from the latest installation.

I'm sure you'll appreciate how difficult this sort of subject is to photograph but here's a close up I took of one which shows the detail quite nicely.

I have matching clear fronts to complete the upgrade which looks as good on silver, yellow, titanium,red,white and equally on black etc... -;

Anybody interested,please feel free drop me a line for further info.

Good Evening(or Good Morning to you,

How strange, it was the guy from N.Y area with the yellow V.8 who first contacted me to ask if I would produce these lenses !

I supply a pair of the clear indicator lenses together with a pair of silver and a pair of amber bulbs, fitting instructions and U.K recorded post for £120 for payment by cheque.

Let me know if your interested in the the fronts as well and I'll email you a combined price inc shipping/PayPal costs.

The fitting guide is an important part of the package - I've done several dozen conversion/lens replacements of various types and following this procedure should enable you to achieve a 'factory look' result.

I'll take a couple of pics shortly with the amber and the silver bulbs in place so you can see the difference. I'll also check back to see which silvers the other chap uses which you can source locally(and I think they come with a lifetime warrantee)

Just a note to say i have recently purchased & fitted a pair of clear rear lenses from Richard aka Wolfie.........

The quality & finish of these are to a factory standard & totally transform the look of the rear of the car,which in my opinion was dated by the amber lense of the toyota unit.

I will be sending digital images of the finished item over the weekend & i'm sure he will post them in turn.

I would highly recommend these for your esprit. they are exactly what the car needed, anyone in the know will understand when they view the posted pictures.

Customer service together with the fitting guide were also second to none.
Regards..............Stals V8

Morning all,

Firstly, many thanks to Alex AKA Stals V8 for those kind words and for the following photos of a really stunning car. If I were a young lad, I'd probably have one of these pics on my bedroom wall!

With regard to bulbs, due to the patterning of the lenses, I found the amber bulb was hardly noticeable compared to some other units(the rear of my 944 S.2 for example)making the use of silver bulbs perhaps less important. I was intersted to see the difference between a standard amber bulb and a 25 LED cluster bulb.

I'm sorting through some pics I've just taken, and I think you'll be surprised at the results......I certainly was!

Latest news........I'm waiting for a Fed side marker for an Elan M100 which I aim to separate and cast the 2 parts and rebond as clears. If I can achieve the quality I am aiming for, I may well look to apply this to Fed Esprit's as well, as there have been some requests for these in the past.
