Well, yesterday we got delivery of our newest addition to the family, a yellow '96 S4s. It makes a perfect mate for my black one

Sorry about the bad quality of the pics.

Here's a very happy lady on day of delivery!

Another bad quality pic.

Now you know why you don't see too many pictures of Mrs ErnestM on PH - I know you lot too well

Nice cars Ande. I'm also jealous that your better half actually wants an Esprit. Mine is happy with the S-type (barge)...

VERY NICE! Take some more pics of the two of them opened up. I would love to see them nose to nose.

Nothing cooler than a black and yellow Esprit. Except maybe a black and yellow and white and red and blue and....

Ok, question (and before apertions are cast let me say I love 'em!):

There seems to be a very heavy following amongst our American cousins for Hethel's classic wedge; could someone explain why it's so popular Stateside?

Thanks.

Uh, and by the way, have you seen what they are tying to foist on us as "sports cars" over here? :shudder:

Well speaking for myself, I think I was British in my past life and what vehicle represents such as much but the Lotus Esprit. (Even though I love all Lotus Cars). When I was 13 years old and on, I always found myself attracted to British things. Example, if I had have a line up of Sports car, SUV, and whip around car it would most certainly look like this:
Lotus Esprit, Elise etc etc, TVR
Range Rover
Aston Martin DB7
Mini

I dont know what it is  , maybe the stork dropped me in the wrong country LOL

She is as obsessed with Esprits as I am She's already become so possesive of her yellow one that she won't let me drive it.
We are taking them both to the track on Friday, so should be fun.

I will be taking new pics soon and post them. The yellow one already has a new exhaust system on it, just like the black one.
