Did anyone know that apparently Saddam's son Uday (spelling?) had an Esprit here in Baghdad. I've been told by one of our locals that it was seen after the war but the trouble is so much was looted, sorry, claimed, by American military and civilian companies that it could be anywhere now.
Shame as that would have been nice to get back to the UK.

Actually, he had an incredible collection of cars. Some of the inventory included more than one Esprit... but also several Ferraris, Lambos, Buggattis, Alfas, etc... Several American Muscle cars and rather nice Caddys as well. The real shame was the Rolls Silver Phantom...

Several have been spotted driving around "Baggy" town... others were totally destroyed by looters. One report even had Sadam torching (or he ordered it) one of Udays garages "because he was upset"...

cars. He stole around 160 cars from Kuwait. You may not believe it
when I tell you that Uday has 1300 luxury cars, such as Rolls Royces,
Porsches, Ferraris, Range Rovers, Lincolns and others.
Following Uday's shooting of Watban, Saddam tried to confiscate and
blow up Uday's cars in one garage. But that garage contained only 13
cars. Saddam did not know that Uday has several other garages, I know
of at least six more.
