price on AC COMPRESSOR for a 94 esprit

looking at a 94 but needs ac compressor, what is available and about how much $ thanks

oh yea, and also the front air dam thing under the bumper needs replacing, is that avail and how much $ thanks

Not sure about the a/c, but I purchased a new set of the air dams for the front of my 94 S4 about a year ago. I cant remember exactly, but I think they run about $150 for each side.

Don't forget that there are aftermarket pieces for the front air dam if you want to update the look to the 2002 or greater. They will fit the 1994.

A mechanic needs to look at the ac compr. and see what replacement alternatives are available. On my 87 G-type esprit, I was going to remove my ac compr. (was leaking) and have it rebuilt. But when the mechanic saw it, he noticed it was a common compr. used in many other vehicles. So he found a common replacement for appr. $400., including dryer. Don't remember what he found, I believe AC Delco part, but perhaps the 94 compressor also can be easily crossed.

I have the compressor from my 95 S4 sitting in my parents garage. It was removed in working condition but has been sitting on a shelf for a couple of years. It spins freely and has no outward signs of wear. If you are interested let me know.
