I own the car in the pistonheads ad. It has been an exceptional vehicle that exceeded all my expectations but it's finally time for something different. I suspect I'll regret selling it.Clicky for pictures and service history.
I am bringing the car to RS Motorsports (Closter, NJ) on Monday June 19 for an A service and to let Ralph put a second pair of eyes on the car for me. Since you're in CT, this would be a perfect opportunity to see both my car and Ralph's time-machine 5k mile S4s. It would be a good education no matter what you end up buying.

Where did you get those carpet mats from? I've been looking for them for years and noone can tell me where to buy them from.

The dealer in Toronto ( the only one around eastern Canada), is totally incapable of supplying parts. I am now officialy at 2 years of waiting for parts from them. I do stop in occasionally, the same parts guy looks at me like I am a total stranger. ( I cant imagine he has that many Esprit customers ) He asks me every time what part I need. I remind him that I have an order that has been placed 2 years ago... He looks and says __ "OH HMM I have no record of that". "I guess I will have to reorder it"
wait.. they did get me a set of mats there.. but sold them to another person before I could pick them up. They had a beige set also.. They suggested that I just buy them for my charcoal interior. Sheesh.

I am of mixed opinions.. this guy seems to want to buy an S4s.... and is agressively trying to get the cheapest one possible....
I am happy to have a new enthusiast in the group . but not so sure about the swindling for a deal.
