Raised this issue recently about my 1990 Turbo that has black alloys. I can get them powder coated for £50 which is nothing so Iam going to go for it.
Your votes please, either:-
1. Bright Silver.
2. Gunmetal/ Anthrysite.
3. Leave as black.
4. Other colour, please specify.

I would appreciate as many votes please to help me decide.

Cheers,

th4neuk

Guess what colour your gonna paint your wheels then!!

I love polished alloys on these beautiful cars, so the closest colour I guess is bright silver.

Hey but it dosent matter what we think, the car becomes an extension of YOUR personality, so make it yours Go for it!!!

KFM from the fact file has a close up of highly polished or chromed OZ wheels and his car is the same color as your car.

Bright silver appears to be streets ahead, though I will take on board Kylie's comments. I did actually fancy the gunmetal grey as the fronts are only 15" and the rears are 16". If they were 17" I wouldn't be asking this question as I would want them as shiny and bright as possible.

Cheers anyway, keep the votes coming in please!

Actually Karl's car has a custom built (not OZ) set of rims on his car (can't remember the make - sorry Karl), but Karl helped prototype the wheels for the company. 18 inch all around. Here is a good pic of Karl's wheels that I snapped at a car show we both attended recently:

He did a nice central exhaust conversion too, eh?

It's Norfolk Mustard. The slight variations in colour may be down to (1)the Florida Sun and (2)the fact that I took it with my combo movie/still Sony digicam. The digicam is primarily movie so the still piccies leave something to be desired...

...however, my wonderful wife (God bless her) purchased me a Sony 4 megapixel still camera for Christmas, so everyone can look forward to some better quality piccies from me in the future

So far you've had the best quality pics/video on the Esprit to date. I actually have the black S4S as my desktop background thay you took at dusk at some car show. That's an amazing picture

Thanks Ed

By the way - you may want to try your upload again as I made a change to the address I gave you...

The black S4s belongs to one of the Central Florida Lotus Group and also a fellow TurboEsprit poster Reed Gaede. It is immaculate! By the way - those are eurospec wheels on Reed's car...

Edited To Add (for those that have not seen it) :

Cheers
