I've been looking after other sport cars besides Esprits, and I must say that the Testarossa is a beautiful and powerful machine.

Will take it on a testdrive in a few weeks. Wonder how it feels to drive a car like that without power steering?

Do you have any personal favorites?

I've driven a Testarossa over a weekend. It's a lot of fun, but a bit daunting for an every day proposition as it's a heavy car to drive.
That being said, I loved SLAMMING (you have to slam it) the gear stick into the metal gate every time I would shift upwards, at high revs. It will bring a smile on your face every single time, especially with the roar of the engine behind you.
The thing that impressed me the most, was that no matter what gear I would be in, from 1,000rpm to red line, the car would pull just as hard. Awesome!

Sounds like a lot of fun :-)
Looking forward to the test drive...

I've been looking for Espirts now for a couple of month, and have found a 2.0 Turbo 92'. Is it hard to drive without power steering?

Here's the car btw:

Hope you can see the pics.

I had a 1988 without power steering. Once you are going 3mph it is totally easy to turn the wheel. It even feels better with more feedback than the later power assisted units. Only when you are basically stopped and try to turn the wheel (which I hear you should try and avoid since it puts a lot of pressure on the steering rack) is it hard to turn.

The exhaust on that 1992 is awesome.
