Hi, I have some questions about turbochargers, which I have been learning more about since I bought my Esprit, my first turbocharged car. Hope I don't sound too ignorant.. I haven't been able to find a clear explaination about wastegates, blowout valves, or compressor bypass valves. From what I understand, these all regulate boost pressure and vent excess pressure. Could someone help me out on the specifics? Which of these does the 86 turbo Esprit use? Thank you.

By the way, my Lotus is running great, I'm really happy with it
